Sergiu Lazarencu Assumes Ministry of Environment Portfolio
The Ministry of Environment's portfolio will be assumed by Sergiu Lazarencu, a deputy in the Parliament of Moldova.
Prime Minister Dorin Recean made an announcement to this effect on his Facebook page.
"I announce a change in the government team. The Ministry of Environment's portfolio will be assumed by our colleague Sergiu Lazarencu, a deputy in the Parliament of Moldova. I appreciate the initiatives undertaken at the ministry. It is essential that important environmental projects gain accelerated momentum," wrote Recean.
It is worth mentioning that previously, the Minister of the Environment position was held by Iordanca-Rodica Iordanov.
