CSP appoints two deputies of the acting general prosecutor Ion Munteanu

The Superior Council of Prosecutors (CSP) appointed on Monday, January 16, two deputies of the interim general prosecutor. It is about prosecutors Aliona Nesterov and Igor Demciucin.

CSP gave the consent for the appointment of the two deputies, at the request of the acting general prosecutor Ion Munteanu. Nesterov and Demciun will hold the positions during the term of the interim head of PG, Ion Munteanu. Aliona Nestirov, who will deal with the judicial field, started her career in 2011 in the Prosecutor's Office of the Ciocana sector of Chisinau. On December 28, 2016, she was appointed as a prosecutor in the Chisinau City Prosecutor's Office, and from September 7, 2020, she worked as a prosecutor in the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office. The second deputy, Igor Demciucin, will be responsible for criminal investigation. He started working as a prosecutor on July 29, 2010, at the Buiucani District Prosecutor's Office, Chisinau. On August 1, 2016, he was appointed as a prosecutor within the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases. On September 22, 2022, the CSP appointed Demciucin as interim deputy of the chief prosecutor of PCCOCS.
