Moldova Marks 30 Years in NATO Partnership
The State Enterprise "Poșta Moldovei" has issued a series of postage stamps to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Republic of Moldova joining the Partnership for Peace (PfP).
The stamps, printed in a circulation of 25,000, feature a design that highlights Moldova's commitment to peace and cooperation. Each stamp has a face value of 12 lei.
The Republic of Moldova joined the PfP on March 16, 1994, becoming the 12th country to sign the PfP Framework Document. The PfP is a program that allows non-NATO countries to cooperate with NATO in a variety of areas, including defence and security.
Moldova's participation in the PfP has helped to strengthen its defence forces, improve its interoperability with NATO forces, and promote peace and stability in the region.
The stamps can be purchased at the company's philatelic store.
