False bomb alert near the Ministry of Internal Affairs
Bomb alert near the headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, after a suspicious package was found in a trash can. According to the press officer of the Chisinau Police Department, Natalia Stati, following the checks carried out by specialized bodies, no explosive objects were identified, and the package contained papers.
We remind you that, on Monday, March 18, a bomb alert arrived at the "Natalia Gheorghiu" Lyceum in the Rîscani sector of Chisinau. Specialists from the "Bombteh" service intervened at the scene. Students and teachers were evacuated and the area was cordoned off. Following on-site checks, the specialized services did not find any explosive objects.
According to the Police, the call to 112 was made by a man.
Next, law enforcement officers are taking action to identify the person who made the call.
