Zelensky Calls for Aid: Kiev Under Attack, Russian Rockets Intercepted
Today, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky urged the West to exhibit "political will" in assisting Ukraine in confronting Russia, following a significant attack in Kiev earlier this morning, as reported by news.ro.
In a social media post, the leader from Kiev specifically requested "anti-aircraft defence" and Patriot-type systems. He emphasised that "the terror continues day and night and only global unity can put an end to it."
Ukraine announced the interception of 31 Russian rockets targeting Kiev at dawn today. This marks the first major attack on the Ukrainian capital since February 7, when Moscow threatened retaliation for Ukrainian bombings on Russian territory.
