Expressions of Gratitude and Confidence in European Integration

During a press statement, President Igor Grosu expressed gratitude for the assistance provided and acknowledged the significant contributions made. He also expressed confidence in the Republic of Moldova's accession to the European Union before 2030, highlighting the reliance of Chișinău authorities on Romania's expertise and support.

Need for Support and Invitation for Collaboration

President Grosu emphasised the need for expertise and immediate support in launching the negotiation process, underscoring the crucial role of technical assistance, experts, and individuals experienced in negotiation. He extended a warm invitation to engage in important positions within the Republic of Moldova.

Royal Support for European Integration

The Royal Family announced discussions during the meeting on ways to support the European path of the Republic of Moldova.

Official Visit to the Republic of Latvia

President Igor Grosu is currently on an official visit to the Republic of Latvia from March 25th to 26th, 2024, at the invitation of his counterpart from Riga. During his visit, he will meet with the leadership of Latvia, including the country's president, Edgars Rinkēvičs, the president of Saeima, Daiga Mieriņa, and the Prime Minister, Evika Siliņa. Additionally, Presidents Grosu and Mieriņa will hold a press conference in Riga.
