Nicolae Negru Analyses Șor Group's Coordination and Kremlin Funding

Authorities in Chișinău are unable to take action against the leaders of the satellite parties associated with the Șor group as long as the judicial system fails to fulfil its obligations.

Nicolae Negru, an editorialist, emphasised during the 1:00 PM broadcast on Moldova 1 that there is no longer any doubt about the direction of Ilan Șor's group.

Although there are pending cases, they are stagnant. According to Negru, our prosecutors and judges lack the necessary diligence or fail to discharge their duties adequately. Consequently, the authorities can only resort to issuing summonses.

Negru also asserts that the coordination of Ilan Șor's satellite parties is blatantly evident. He argues that it is imperative to halt the flow of Kremlin funds intended to destabilise the country.

"This organised criminal group has now relocated to Moscow, and its operations are directed from there," Negru stated. He further elaborated that this situation inadvertently benefits our state institutions engaged in combating destabilisation. Identifying the perpetrators and the source of funds is known, and the focus should now be on halting the flow of money and preventing voter corruption.

Ilan Șor, convicted in the Republic of Moldova in a bank fraud case, announced in Moscow on Sunday the launch of the "Victory Pobeda" political bloc. This entity will bring together several satellite parties either founded or revitalised by Șor. Last summer, the Constitutional Court outlawed his former formation, citing illegal financing and attempts to destabilise the country in favour of Russia.

Several representatives of the pro-European faction in Chișinău have condemned this action as "a disgrace." They assert that Moscow has established an organised criminal bloc, indicating whom it serves and for what purpose.

The Central Electoral Commission declined to comment on matters related to the formation of a political bloc. Previously, through Interpol, there was a request for Ilan Șor's extradition to our authorities, but Russia refused to comply.
