These projects aim to modernise USM's infrastructure, stimulate research, and develop the university's academic environment. To achieve these goals, USM signed an agreement with Romania's Department of Relations with Moldova.

Work on the projects commenced on May 30th with the signing of project contracts by USM Rector Igor Șarov and DRRM State Secretary Adrian Dupu. The Romanian government-funded initiatives aim to solidify Moldova's European path, with a particular focus on the area of higher education.

Furthermore, the projects will identify opportunities for collaboration between various stakeholders, including scientists, cultural figures, teachers, and students. This will facilitate the development of partnerships between schools and universities. These partnerships will enable the exchange of experiences and best practices in education, ultimately contributing to improvements in the quality of higher education throughout Moldova.
