Marshal of the Senate from Poland is making an official visit to the Republic of Moldova

The Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, Tomasz Grodzki, is on an official visit to Chisinau, between January 24 and 25. In Chisinau, the Polish official will have meetings with the country's leadership - the Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, the head of state, Maia Sandu, and the prime minister, Natalia Gavrilița. The agenda of the official visit also includes discussions with the Minister of Health, Ala Nemerenco.

According to a press release issued by the Parliament, various current topics will be addressed during the meetings, including the security situation in the region, the energy crisis and the course of our country's European integration, in the context of getting the status of a candidate country for EU accession.

According to the agenda of the visit, Marshal Tomasz Grodzki will hold a public lecture for the students of the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Nicolae Testemițanu" and will meet with representatives of the Polish community.

The Polish official will be accompanied, during the visit to Chisinau, by a group of Polish senators.
