Traffic restrictions in Chisinau, in connection with the visit of the Italian president

In connection with the visit to Chisinau of the president of Italy, Sergio Mattarella, the access of people to certain public places in Chisinau will be temporarily limited on Monday and Tuesday.

Thus, on June 17-18, between 08:00-18:00, there will be traffic restrictions in the city center and the arteries that connect to Chisinau International Airport. Also, according to the Chisinau City Hall, mass demonstrations, road repair works, electrical, thermal, aqueduct and sewerage networks and tree cutting will be prohibited, in the perimeter of the streets where the official column will move.

Drivers are urged to comply with the requirements of traffic agents, to show patience and discipline, without deviations from the Road Traffic Regulations.

The President of Italy will arrive in the Republic of Moldova on Monday, June 17, informs the Presidency. On June 18, the official will have a meeting with President Maia Sandu.

The presidential institution informs that the visit of Sergio Mattarella is the first official visit of a president of the Italian Republic to the Republic of Moldova. Italy is one of the most important partners of our country.
