Constanța Authorities Activate Red Plan After Major Bus Crash

The authorities in Constanța activated the Red Intervention Plan on Sunday night going into Monday, following an accident between a truck and a bus carrying 57 Ukrainian citizens, including 42 minors.

In the wake of the accident, four people were transported to the hospital.

Firefighters were called to intervene on Sunday night going into Monday, at a road accident involving a truck and a bus with over 50 passengers, between the localities of Tariverde and Baia, at the railway crossing, according to representatives of the Dobrogea Emergency Situations Inspectorate.

Several teams of firefighters and first-aid personnel were dispatched to the scene.

At 03:28, the Red Intervention Plan was activated.

"There are 57 Ukrainian citizens on the bus - 42 minors and 15 adults. Among them, 15 people (2 adults and 13 children) required medical care. Traffic is blocked in both directions," stated the representatives of ISU Dobrogea.

Four people - two adults and two children - were transported to the hospital.
