Hungary presented its priorities to the EU presidency

Hungary, which takes over the rotating presidency of the European Union from July 1, presented its priorities for the six months. According to the Hungarian Minister for European Affairs, Janos Boka, Budapest will actively promote the expansion of the European Union, especially regarding the Republic of Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine.

The government of Prime Minister Viktor Orban, considered one of the few supporters of Russia after the invasion of Ukraine, has already blocked several packages of European support for Kiev.

Minister Janos Boka also referred to Hungary's slogan for the presidency, "Let's make Europe great again", which appears to be identical to the one in the US presidential election in 2016. Republican Donald Trump then won the election with the slogan "Make America Great Again", and this year he is again running for the White House. Boka denied the connection between the two slogans and said that the Hungarian one refers to an active presidency.
