Energy Minister Parlicov at P-TECC: Boosting Regional Security

The Moldovan Minister of Energy, Victor Parlicov, will participate in the 5th meeting of the Transatlantic Partnership for Cooperation in Energy and Climate (P-TECC), which will take place in Bucharest on July 23-24.

The event will bring together leaders from Europe and the USA to discuss regional energy security and the reconstruction of Ukraine's energy sector.

At the event, Minister Parlicov will address the diversification of energy resources and discuss opportunities for American firms in Moldova's energy market with the Undersecretary of the U.S. Department of Commerce, Marisa Lago.

Additionally, in a meeting with the Deputy Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA), Mary Burce Warlick, they will explore the possibilities of intensifying cooperation to achieve a more diversified, clean, and sustainable energy future.

More than 300 young people from the Republic of Moldova were trained in camps in the Russian Federation, as well as in guerrilla camps in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the aim of causing mass destabilization and disorder around the presidential elections and the constitutional referendum on joining the European Union from October 20. They also received specialized instructions on the use of drones equipped with explosives and pipe bombs, between September and mid-October, by foreigners with links to private military groups such as "Wagner" and "Ferma", said Alexandru Musteata, head of the Intelligence and Security Service, Alexandru Musteață.
