Maia Sandu, on the day of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova: "We continue to build a state for the people"
Three decades ago, Moldovans decided to build together a country where people live freely, a state where the rights of all citizens are respected, and they can ensure their well-being and achieve their aspirations through honest work, said President Maia Sandu on Constitution Day of the Republic of Moldova. According to the president, "despite the challenges of recent years, we continue to build a state for the people."
"The rights and obligations of the citizen of the Republic of Moldova remind us of the fact that we are part of a community in which everyone's good depends on the common good. They teach us that it is important to respect each other if we want to live in peace and understanding. Let us know and respect the Constitution, appreciating the opportunity to be free and equal before the law. It's our social contract - it's the handshake that inspires us to build a better common future for the next generations of Moldovans", reads the message posted by Maia Sandu on the Facebook page.
