Grants of 1.5 million lei for young people involved in the digital transformation of agriculture in the Republic of Moldova
The USAID Rural Competitiveness and Resilience project in Moldova has launched a call for grants with the aim of supporting initiatives to involve young people in digital transformation activities of value-added agriculture, the wine sector and tourism through partnerships between educational institutions and private companies and by integrating young people in transformational digital activities in the target sectors.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Regional Development, grant funding can be requested by incubators, industrial associations, member associations, business service providers, extension services, educational institutions, public associations and private companies that will propose activities which will contribute to the creation and/or development of partnerships for digital transformation with the participation of young people in the target sectors.
The Rural Competitiveness and Resilience Project in Moldova anticipates granting approximately 7,500,000.00 lei for the funding of the call, and the amount of the grant per beneficiary can vary between 1,000,000.00 lei - 1,500,000.00 lei, with applicants contributing at least 10% of the total value of the activity.
