CEC registers Electoral Bloc "Together" for October elections
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has officially registered the Electoral Bloc "Together" to participate in the republican constitutional referendum and the presidential elections scheduled for October 20th in Moldova. This decision was adopted during a CEC meeting.
Additionally, the CEC has approved the Bloc's electoral symbol, which consists of a black quadrilateral background adorned with a circle of grey stars, with the word "TOGETHER" in white at its centre.
Furthermore, the CEC specifies that the Bloc's component parties are not permitted to submit a request to be registered as participants in the referendum or as electoral competitors under their own name.
The former president of the National Unity Party (PUN), Octavian Țîcu, has been designated by the Bloc "Together" as their candidate for the presidency of the Republic of Moldova. The announcement was made by representatives of the four parties: Platform DA, the League of Cities and Communes, the Party of Change, and the Coalition for Unity and Well-being, during a briefing.
