Celebrate Moldova’s Independence Day with Moldova 1's special program
On August 27, join us and Moldova 1 in celebrating the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova with a special program.
From early morning until late evening, we will present a series of interviews, discussions on the significance of this historic day, and exceptional artistic performances. Tune in to Moldova 1 and participate in this national celebration!
Starting at 7:50 AM, we invite viewers from around the world to tune in to Moldova 1 and follow our special program throughout the day. In the morning, our colleagues Daniela Crudu and Ion Jalbă will share stories of young people who are living out their independence at home, those who chose to remain in Moldova and have succeeded in business, as well as memories from individuals who have experienced independence firsthand.
At 1:30 PM, our colleague Radu Osipov will moderate a series of discussions about the significance of August 27. As part of this special event, we will also host prominent guests in Chișinău. At 4:00 PM, Lucia Vieru will welcome the presidents of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia at the Moldova 1 studio to discuss the Baltic countries’ progress in European integration and the relevance of their experiences for Moldova’s European aspirations.
At 6:00 PM, the program will continue with an artistic segment featuring Doina Stimpovschi, along with several writers, performers, and cultural figures.
Viewers will also have the opportunity to see how Independence Day is celebrated in various regions of the country. Correspondents will report from Soroca, Sireți, Ialoveni, Costești, Cahul, and Comrat.
