Independence Day in Moldova: A holiday of music and celebration

Moldova commemorates its Independence Day with a spectacular cultural program on August 26, 27, and 28.

The Great National Assembly Square will serve as the stage for renowned artists from both Moldova and abroad.

Government spokesperson Daniel Vodă announced that the celebrations would kick off on August 26 with an electronic music concert featuring Magic Flowers, GOLAN, Subcarpații, and Andrew Rayel.

On August 27, the festivities would culminate in a grand concert featuring special guests from Romania and Ukraine, as well as Loreen, the Swedish singer who won Eurovision twice.

The Independence Day celebrations would conclude on August 28 with performances from Alternosfera (Moldova), Okean Elzy (Ukraine), and Delia (Romania).

All concerts are scheduled to begin at 6 PM.
