Moldovan voters abroad have ten days to register for elections
Voters residing outside Moldova have ten more days to complete their preliminary registration for the referendum and the presidential elections scheduled for October 20.
This preliminary registration is crucial for estimating the number of voters who intend to participate at one of the polling stations established beyond the country's borders.
Additionally, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) reminds voters in the United States, Canada, Iceland, Finland, Sweden, and Norway that they may request to vote by mail. For these voters, preliminary registration is mandatory.
As of today, over nine thousand voters have registered, including more than 660 who have requested to vote by mail. The deadline for completing preliminary registration is September 6.
