Travel alert for Moldovans from Hungary. Heavy rainfall is expected

The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Hungary warns Moldovan citizens in Hungary or who intend to travel to this country about the unfavourable weather conditions forecast for the next period. Heavy rainfall is expected, and Hungarian authorities issued weather warnings and flood alerts for several regions, including Budapest.

Citizens are advised to constantly monitor local news sources for weather updates and warnings. It must also take into account possible delays and disruptions in road, rail and air transport.

Also, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) issued yesterday, September 15, a travel alert for Austria, where similar severe weather conditions are forecast. Citizens are advised to stay informed and follow the recommendations of local authorities to avoid risky situations.
