Romanian Foreign Minister at the UN: The stability of the Republic of Moldova is "crucial"
The stability of the Republic of Moldova is crucial for the entire region, said the head of diplomacy from Bucharest, Luminita Odobescu, during the UN General Assembly. The official reiterated, during a meeting of the UN Security Council, Romania's support for our country and the "peace formula" of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski.
Also, during the transatlantic dinner hosted by the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, Odobescu highlighted the need for support for the Republic of Moldova in the face of hybrid tactics from Russia, pleading for a transatlantic coordination in the Black Sea region.
World leaders gathered in New York for the 79th UN General Assembly to discuss global issues and their countries' priorities. The Republic of Moldova is represented this year by Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi.
