Yellow warning for frost until October 21

The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) issued today, October 15, a yellow warning for frost for the entire territory of the Republic of Moldova. The warning is valid from October 17-21. According to meteorologists, frosts up to -4°C are expected during the night and morning hours.

According to the State Weather Service, in the period there will be -1..-4 degrees Celsius of ground frost at night and in the morning. In parts, there will be -1..-2 degrees Celsius in the air.

Citizens are advised to take precautions, especially in agriculture, where frost could affect autumn crops.
