Moldova's presidential candidates debate live on key issues
Teleradio-Moldova has extended an invitation to Maia Sandu and Alexandr Stoianoglo to participate in an electoral debate, set to air live today, October 28, on Moldova 1 and Radio Moldova, beginning at 7:00 PM.
Joining debate moderator Radu Osipov in the studio will be several journalists from various news outlets, each of whom will have the opportunity to pose questions to the two candidates in this electoral debate.
The debate will adhere to regulations set forth by the Central Electoral Commission, granting each candidate 45 minutes to address the electorate. Candidates will answer questions from the moderator and journalists in the studio, engage in open discussions, and respond directly to inquiries from the public.
Topics of discussion will encompass the responsibilities of the President of the Republic of Moldova, the nation’s foreign policy, European integration, candidates’ platforms, protections for fundamental rights, social cohesion, and national security.
Directly following the debate, Moldova 1 will broadcast a summary and analysis program, highlighting each candidate’s main statements and key moments. Stay tuned for this essential electoral debate ahead of the second round of the presidential elections.
