Important changes for Moldovans voting abroad in elections

The polling stations established by the Republic of Moldova in the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, and France are changing their addresses for the second round of the presidential elections, differing from the first round.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) advises citizens to verify the new addresses ahead of time and to find out where they will be able to vote.

For the second round, Moldovans living abroad will be able to vote using the following identity documents:

Citizens who opted for mail-in voting but did not receive confirmation that their ballots were received should go to the nearest polling station.

Polling stations will open at 07:00 and close at 21:00. The updated list of polling stations open for the second round in diaspora locations can be viewed HERE.

On November 3, 2024, Moldovans are invited to the polls to elect their next president. Competing in the presidential race are the current president, Maia Sandu, supported by PAS, and the former General Prosecutor, Alexandr Stoianoglo, who is supported by PSRM.
