Moldova weather: Warm spell continues until November 1st
October is ending with above-average temperatures. Nadejda Stolear, a forecaster at the State Hydrometeorological Service, informed Teleradio-Moldova that temperatures are 4-5 degrees Celsius above average.
"October is ending with above-average temperatures due to a high-pressure system over Europe, which is bringing warm air from the south into Moldova," Stolear explained. "This isn't unusual; we've seen similar phenomena over the years. They're becoming increasingly common."
She added that these few warm days are not expected to significantly affect agriculture.
According to meteorologists, temperatures will stay warm until November 1st. Overnight lows will be between 4 and 9 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs of 12-17 degrees.
After November 1st, temperatures will return to normal. Overnight lows will drop to 0-5 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between 7 and 12 degrees.
No precipitation is expected during this period.
