Irina Vlah forms Republican Party "Heart of Moldova
Irina Vlah has announced the establishment of a new political party, which will be named the Republican Party "Heart of Moldova."
This announcement was made today during a press briefing. According to Vlah, the party's name was suggested by several citizens and represents a continuation of the path taken during the presidential elections in which she participated, symbolised by the heart.
"In the near future, we will initiate the legislative procedures necessary for this endeavour. We are committed to advancing a political project that will become operational as soon as possible and will begin to implement all the actions that the public expects from us. We are dedicated to a different kind of politics—one that reflects the real interests of the country and its citizens, directly oriented toward the people and for the people. I am confident that we will succeed. I invite you to join our team," stated Irina Vlah.
It should be noted that in the first round of the presidential elections, 5.38% of voters supported Irina Vlah, equating to 83,193 votes.
From 2015 to 2023, Irina Vlah served as the governor of the Gagauzia Autonomous Territorial Unit, making her the first woman to hold the position of Bashkan of the Gagauz autonomy.
