Parliament meeting // International agreements and the amendment of the Energy Vulnerability Reduction Fund
Two agreements with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the World Bank, aimed at modernizing waste management infrastructure in several localities and ensuring equal access of schools to technical grants, are to be approved by Parliament. These agreements are part of the agenda of the plenary session on Friday, November 15, and are essential for supporting sustainable development and education in the Republic of Moldova.
The deputies will also discuss legislative projects in the first reading, such as the draft law on the record of building networks and the amendments to the Code of Contraventions aimed at the procedure for applying the penalty of the warning and the digitization of the process of documenting contraventions. The amendment to the Energy Vulnerability Reduction Fund Law will be debated in the second reading.
In addition, changes to the normative acts related to the procedure for taking foreigners into public custody and the adaptation of the legislation for the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing in line with international standards, will be analyzed.
