Sinner wins ATP Finals, makes history
Italian tennis sensation Jannik Sinner has clinched the ATP Finals title. In a dominant performance at the Torino final, the world number one defeated American Taylor Fritz in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4.
Sinner faced a formidable opponent but proved decisive in key moments, capitalising on Fritz's errors. The Italian became the first player in 38 years to win the tournament without dropping a single set. Ivan Lendl last achieved this feat in 1986.
Additionally, Jannik Sinner became the first Italian tennis player to win the ATP Finals. The world number one capped off a phenomenal year, winning his first Grand Slam titles at the Australian Open and US Open.
