The "Sor" party, once again at the Constitutional Court: It challenged the extension of the state of emergency in the Republic of Moldova
The "Sor" party contested the decision adopted by the PAS parliamentary majority regarding the extension of the state of emergency for another sixty days. A referral to this effect was submitted today, February 7, to the Constitutional Court.
Deputy Marina Tauber said that there were no reasons to extend the state of emergency in Moldova. On the other hand, deputy Vadim Fotescu explained that the opposition has always been against the extension of the state of emergency.
The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova prolonged the state of emergency in the Republic of Moldova for another 60 days, as of February 4, 2023.
