Daniel Vodă leaves MAEIE. He will be the spokesperson of Prime Minister Dorin Recean
Daniel Vodă was appointed adviser on communication and spokesperson of the new prime minister, Dorin Recean. The announcement was made on his Facebook page.
"I accepted Prime Minister Dorin Recean's proposal to be seconded from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE) to the Government of the Republic of Moldova as a spokesperson," wrote Daniel Vodă on his Facebook page. Vodă says that the decision to leave the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was a difficult one, but taken "with one thought" - the success of the Republic of Moldova "on the irreversible path to the EU". "I want to repeat it publicly. Our country's diplomacy is my soul home. In diplomacy we are deployed in missions, I thank Minister Nicu Popescu, all the dear people from Foreign Affairs for all the trust and support I have benefited from, and in the new capacity or mission I will strive to achieve what I know how to do better together with our team extended - communication", wrote Daniel Vodă.
