Fund Moldova public schools through MPay
Individuals can financially support public schools in Moldova through the government's MPay electronic payment service.
The Ministry of Education and Research reports that 67 schools are already connected to receive donations, with 50 more in the process of being connected.
"Donations are entirely anonymous. No one will know you contributed to the school, but the funds will be used for infrastructure, supplies, equipment, and other school needs," Dan Perciun explained.
Schools will be required to provide semi-annual reports on how the funds are used. The school community will also decide how the donations are invested.
"To donate, visit mpay.gov.md, search for 'donations,' and a menu will appear where you can select a school and specify your donation amount," Dan Perciun explained.
