Pre-tests for 9th and 12th graders start today

About 48,000 students from all over the country are participating in the pre-tests organized by the Ministry of Education and Research and the National Agency for Curriculum and Assessment (ANCE) between March 24 and April 4. The testing aims to determine the students' level of preparation for the national exams.

About 29,000 gymnasium students and about 19,000 lyceum students are participating in the testing. They will have the opportunity to solve tests similar to the models provided by the exam programs, and the papers written by the students will not be assessed with grades.

“Students of graduating classes can prepare for the exams, including based on the tests that were solved by former graduates. Both the exam programs and the tests applied during the years 2010–2025 are published on the website of the National Agency for Curriculum and Evaluation (ANCE) and can be accessed by all interested persons”, says Lilia Ivanov, director of ANCE.

All tests and correction scales will be published online on the day of each pre-test on the official website of the Agency.
