Eurovision 2025 results: Austria crowned winner

Austria is the big winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025! Representative JJ won over the European audience with the song "Wasted Love", securing a total of 436 points and placing first after both the jury vote and the televote.

Austria was followed in the final standings by Israel (357 points) and Estonia (356 points), in a tight and exciting competition until the very end.

After the national jury vote, Austria led the ranking with 258 points, followed by Switzerland (214 points) and France (180 points). Italy was in 4th place, and the Netherlands were in fifth place.

The voting lines for the Eurovision 2025 Final closed, with "Stop voting" officially announced after the performances by the 26 competing countries. The national jury scores were then presented, followed by the public vote, which determined the winner of the 69th edition.

The 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest took place on the evening of May 17, 2025, at St. Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland. The final, where 26 countries competed for the trophy, was broadcast live on Moldova 1.

The 26 competing countries that performed included Switzerland, this year's host, the contest's five major broadcasters ("Big Five") – France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom – as well as 10 qualifiers from each of the two semi-finals. The running order was determined by the Swiss broadcaster SRG SSR.

The evening was hosted by Hazel Brugger, Michelle Hunziker, and Sandra Studer under the slogan "Welcome Home", a tribute to the first Eurovision edition also hosted by Switzerland in 1956.

In addition to the competition, the event also featured special moments with iconic artists, including last year's winner, Nemo, as well as Baby Lasagna (Croatia), Käärijä (Finland), and other former Swiss representatives.

The Republic of Moldova has not participated in this year's edition of the contest.
