Border Police: 43 people were refused entry to the Republic of Moldova
In the last 24 hours, on the way to enter the Republic of Moldova, the refusal of authorization to cross the state border was applied to 43 people, the Border Police announces. Also during this period, over 39 thousand people crossed the border of the Republic of Moldova, most of them being foreign citizens, numbering 23,001.
Crossings by Moldovan citizens constituted 16,384. The most "active" border, according to the source, was with Romania - 20,416 crossings, at the Moldovan - Ukrainian border, 12,302 crossings were reported and another 6,667 crossings – by plane.
The most transited border crossing points remain: PTF Leușeni – 8,057 person crossings; PTF Chisinau Airport – 6,667 passenger crossings; PTF Sculeni – 4,781 people crossing; PTF Otaci - 4,169 people crossing; PTF Giurgiulești-Galați - 2,978 people crossing.
With reference to the crossing of the border by the citizens of Ukraine, a total number of 10,255 crossings were recorded, of which 5,141 - in the direction of entry into Moldova. Also, 1,223 were the crossings of Ukrainian minors.
