Moldovan diaspora to gather for 11th Congress on August 15
Moldovan citizens living abroad can register until July 31 to participate in the 11th Diaspora Congress, scheduled for August 15.
This event offers a significant opportunity for members of Moldovan communities worldwide to reconnect with their homeland and actively engage in discussions on the future of the Republic of Moldova.
One of the central highlights of the congress will be the panel dedicated to European integration. High-ranking officials and experts will discuss the country’s European trajectory and the challenges that must be overcome to make progress in this process.
According to the Bureau for Relations with the Diaspora, participants will also address topics including civic engagement, combating misinformation, the potential of young people as leaders of the next generation, and the role of Moldovans abroad as cultural ambassadors for the Republic of Moldova.
At the Diaspora Congress, citizens will have the opportunity to engage in dialogue with President Maia Sandu and Speaker of Parliament Igor Grosu, as well as raise any questions or concerns they may have.
The 11th Diaspora Congress will be held on August 15 at 9:30 a.m. at the Palace of the Republic in Chișinău.
