Staff reshuffling at the Government: New secretaries of state in ministries and consul in Istanbul

The Cabinet of Ministers led by Prime Minister Dorin Recean carried out, during today's meeting, March 7, several resignations and appointments. Diplomatic employees, secretaries of state, but also employees of the State Chancellery are targeted.

Thus, according to the Government's decision, Sergiu Gurduza, the former member of the Central Electoral Commission and the current advisor to the Parliament Speaker, Igor Grosu, was appointed as consul general of the Republic of Moldova in Istanbul, Turkey. Also, the ministers approved, today, the resignation of Serghei Diaconu from the position of Secretary General of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Instead, MAI chose a new secretary of state. This is Igor Trofimov, appointed by the Government. "Igor Trofimov is a valuable specialist in the internal affairs system," said the Minister of the Interior, Ana Revenco. A new Secretary of State was also appointed at the Ministry of Finance. Olga Golban, "known both as a civil servant and in the business environment", claims Minister Veronica Sirețeanu. "My prayer is that we pursue this objective of the Government of increasing friendliness for the business environment and, at the same time, take care of fiscal discipline," said Prime Minister Dorin Recean. At the same time, Nicolae Rădiță becomes deputy general director of the Interethnic Relations Agency, and Olga Dobrioglo leaves the Hîncești territorial office of the State Chancellery.
