ELECTIONS 2025 // Citizens can request a voting certificate to vote at any polling station

Individuals who will not be at their permanent residence or valid temporary residence on the day of the parliamentary elections, scheduled for September 28, may request a certificate of voting rights from the electoral office of their polling station. This certificate will enable voters to cast their ballots at any other polling station within the country, using an additional electoral list.
According to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), certificates confirming the right to vote will be issued by the electoral office at the polling station where the voter is assigned based on their registered domicile or residence by September 27.
To obtain this certificate, voters must present an identity document that verifies their domicile or residence within the area of the respective polling station.
Additionally, voters in the Republic of Moldova can visit their polling station to check if their information on the electoral lists is accurate. With the presentation of an identity document and any necessary supporting documents, citizens can request corrections to any inaccuracies in their personal data or request the addition or removal of voters from the list.
The parliamentary elections in the Republic of Moldova are scheduled for September 28, 2025, and will determine the composition of the 12th Parliament, which consists of 101 deputies elected for a four-year term.
As of September 1, the number of citizens registered in the State Register of Voters with the right to vote was 3,299,396. This total includes 2,763,678 individuals assigned to level II administrative-territorial units, 258,624 persons who hold citizenship of the Republic of Moldova but do not have a registered domicile or residence—including those who have emigrated abroad with authorization—and 277,094 citizens with a registered domicile in the administrative-territorial units on the left bank of the Nistru.
