Maia Sandu meeting with IMF delegation: the government's priorities are to maintain peace and stability
President Maia Sandu and Alfred Kammer, Director of the European Department of the IMF, who was visiting Chisinau at the head of an official delegation, discussed cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and the International Monetary Fund.
The discussion focused on the regional situation in our country, which, according to the interlocutors, is complicated but stable.
Maia Sandu stressed that the government's priorities are to maintain peace and stability, overcome the crisis in the energy sector and revive the economy. The head of state talked about the need to increase business access to cheaper financing, investments needed to strengthen energy security and adapt to climate change, a presidential statement said.
