The Republic of Moldova opened an Honorary Consulate in Quebec
The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Moldova in Quebec, Canada, headed by Serge H. Malaison, started its activity.
According to the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Canada, Honorary Consul Serge H. Malaison will serve as "an active partner of the Moldovan community in Quebec and a dedicated promoter of the tourism and cultural-artistic image of the Republic of Moldova."
The Honorary Consulate's activities will strengthen bilateral relations and enhance the bonds of friendship and collaboration between the Republic of Moldova and the province of Quebec.
"This important achievement represents a significant step in consolidating relations between the Republic of Moldova and Canada. It will contribute to the expansion of economic cooperation, the promotion of investments, and the development of partnerships within the business community, as well as to the intensification of cultural, academic, and scientific exchanges," reads the press release from the Moldovan diplomatic mission in Canada.
