Union through music: Symphony orchestras from both banks of the Prut will perform a monumental work by Beethoven

The 9th Symphony by Ludwig van Beethoven will sound at the vocal-symphonic concert dedicated to the day of the Union of Bessarabia with Romania. The event will take place on Thursday, March 23, at the Palace of the Republic in Chisinau. For the first time, two valuable symphony orchestras from the Republic of Moldova and from Romania will perform a monumental work by Beethoven.

"It is a cooperation project between our Philharmonic and the State Philharmonic from Botoșani, which will come with the entire orchestra and we will merge for this concert and present together - two orchestras and the "Doina" choral chapel - Beethoven's 9th Symphony and a surprise - another work, also representative for us", said the artistic director of the National Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Mihail Agafita.

The concert is organized with the support of the "Mihai Eminescu" Romanian Cultural Institute and Botoșani City Hall.
