The authorities in Chisinau are doing everything they can to make Moldova attractive to investors - to create jobs, stimulate the economy and bring more prosperity to citizens. The message was delivered in Bucharest by Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu at a meeting with American and Romanian investors. Prime Minister Dorin Recean, Head of the Parliament Igor Grosu and Minister of Economy Dumitru Alaiba left last night for Bucharest on the same plane as Romanian Prime Minister Nicolae Ciucă to attend a meeting of investors.
Romania has also been Moldova's main trading partner since 2014, and in 2022 the volume of trade reached a record level of around $2.9 billion. The Republic of Moldova delivered goods to Romania worth more than $1.2 billion, which represents almost 30 percent of our country's total exports.
