Increased flow of trucks at the Moldovan-Romanian border. The Customs Service undertakes measures to streamline traffic
Increased traffic of trucks with goods in the customs posts located on the Moldovan-Romanian border can be seen on the way out of the Republic of Moldova, informs the Customs Service of the Republic of Moldova.
According to the Customs Service, the customs posts located on the Moldovan-Romanian border have become overloaded, because economic agents from the Republic of Moldova, which previously exported goods to Ukraine, have reoriented towards the EU market. Also, the flow increased because some transporters from Ukraine opt for cargo transit through the Republic of Moldova.
Also, the Customs Service says that the Moldovan customs officers can clear and allow the passage of as many trucks as they can physically pass for control on the Romanian side, without blocking the access bridge.
The Customs Service undertakes all measures to streamline the cross-border traffic of goods.
