The Republic of Moldova continues to count on the expertise and support, including financial, of the World Bank. The statement was made by President Maia Sandu during a meeting with the Executive Director of the World Bank Group, Koen Davidse, who arrived in Chisinau. According to the presidency, the topics discussed by the two officials relate to the "difficult context" in which the Republic of Moldova finds itself and the reforms underway.
According to the source quoted, during the meeting, the head of state spoke about the progress the Republic of Moldova has made in priority areas.
In this context, President Maia Sandu stressed that our country is counting on the World Bank's expertise and support, including financial support, to further stimulate economic growth.
