Israel revises protection rules affecting Moldovans

Starting Thursday, March 5, at 12:00, the Israeli authorities will update the population's protection guidelines. All regions of the country will transition from strict restrictions to a reduced level of restrictions. This announcement was communicated to Moldovan citizens by the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Israel, based on the Home Front Command's assessment of the security situation.

According to the new rules, educational activities will remain suspended. Public gatherings will be allowed only with a maximum of 50 people and only if a protected space can be reached quickly in the event of an alert.

Also, work will be allowed only in places from which employees can reach an appropriately protected space.

The new instructions will be valid until Saturday, March 7, at 8:00 p.m.

The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova urges Moldovan citizens in Israel to continue following the official information published by the Home Front Command and the recommendations of the authorities to protect their lives and safety.

We note that the security situation in the Middle East remains "complex", with missile and drone attacks continuing in several states in the region.

According to the MFA Crisis Cell, to date, no victims or injured citizens of the Republic of Moldova have been recorded in the monitored states.
