More than 2,000 UTM graduates celebrate graduation

More than two thousand young people have graduated from the Technical University of Moldova. These graduates, including architects, engineers, and veterinarians, hold proper credentials and have ambitious plans for their future. Some aim to continue their education, while others are eager to enter the workforce. Their expectations reflect their aspirations: fresh graduates hope to earn high salaries, even though many of them lack work experience.
Cristian Babară graduated from the Faculty of Computers, Informatics, and Microelectronics. Almost 30 years ago, his parents studied at the same faculty.
"Not long ago, I entered university, and I have already graduated. This field interests me, and it is my passion. In the future, I will probably pursue a master's degree and excel in this field," says Cristian Babară, a graduate.
"I have mixed emotions; I graduated with Cristian's father from the same faculty 26 years ago, and now we have a third engineer in the family," mentioned Irina Babară, Cristian's mother.
Some young graduates plan to continue their studies in the Republic of Moldova, confident that there are sufficient opportunities for professional development here.
"Four years of studies have paid off. My diploma will help me in the future. - What did you graduate in? - Computers and networks. - Will you continue your studies in Moldova? - Absolutely! There is definitely a future for young people in the Republic of Moldova. I want to work here," said Daniel Beschieru, a graduate.
"It was my greatest wish to see him dressed so beautifully and to witness his successes."
"The four years of college passed very quickly. Each year was different—interesting and challenging—but it was fully worthwhile. I believe there are many opportunities for young people to build a career in the Republic of Moldova. Studying here and obtaining a quality education is valuable," stated another graduate.
"I can't believe it. Finally, these four years have passed so quickly. I still remember my first day of college, and comparing it to my last day, I think I will pursue a master’s degree as well. - Are you planning to continue your studies in Moldova? - Yes, most likely in biomedical engineering at the master's level," said Tatiana Sadovic, another graduate.
"As my nephew's aunt, I feel special emotions because I took him to his first grade; his parents were abroad, and I took care of him. Now I am overwhelmed with feelings."
"Today, you can be proud to hold the title of graduate of the Technical University. It is a title I hope you cherish. In 10, 15, 20, 30, or even 50 years from now, I hope you will still be proud to have graduated from UTM," mentioned Viorel Bostan, the Rector of UTM.
The Technical University of Moldova includes 14 faculties, which offer study programs in a variety of fields, including engineering, information technologies, architecture, design, construction, agriculture, veterinary medicine, economics, and other specializations.
