Drones breach Moldova airspace over five districts

Multiple unmanned aerial vehicles breached Moldovan airspace on Saturday morning, triggering heightened surveillance across five central and southeastern districts, according to the National Integrated Monitoring System.

Radars and tracking units detected the drones flying in the vicinity of Anenii Noi, Ștefan Vodă, Hîncești, Tudora, and Căușeni on October 3.

The National Integrated Monitoring System noted that national airspace remains under active, continuous surveillance.

Moldova's Air Operations Service reported that it is currently monitoring the security situation in close coordination with competent domestic authorities and international security partners.

Officials announced that further technical updates and details will follow as assessments progress.
