"Celebrating Europe together" // The Botanic Garden opens its doors wide for children and their parents. What surprises await them
The Botanical Garden in Chisinau is opening its doors wide for all those who want to spend hours in the fresh air and participate in children's activities. On the occasion of Europe Day on 9 May, the government is organising a children's programme "Celebrating Europe together".
"Europe Day symbolises peace and unity on the European continent. On this occasion, the Government invites citizens to visit the Botanical Garden in the capital city in a children's event with an exhibition of craftsmen, an artistic programme by the Credo military choir, workshops and activities for children, an exhibition of intervention and forensic techniques, a show by the dog service and canine team, and other surprises," the Government press release reads.
Children and their parents are expected from 11:00. Admission is free and the first 3,000 visitors will receive an ice cream. The programme will end at 15:00.
Europe Day events will continue in Moldova on 13 May. The European Village will take place on the Grand National Assembly Square.
The Government of the Republic of Moldova is organising on 9 May, from 11:00 to 15:00, in the National Botanical Garden "Alexandru Ciubotaru", the children's programme "Celebrating Europe together".
