General rehearsal for the European Political Community Summit. Traffic will be restricted on the Chisinau-Bulboaca route
The authorities responsible for the security of the European Political Community Summit are organising a general rehearsal to ensure the smooth running of the international event, which will take place in the Republic of Moldova on 1 June. On Sunday, 14 May, starting at 09:00, for 5 hours, security zones will be set up in Chisinau and traffic will be restricted on some streets in the capital, as well as towards Bulboaca.
During this period, security perimeters will be set up in the central area of Chisinau. Subsequently, temporary traffic restrictions will be applied to the main arteries in the Centre and Botanica sectors of the capital, while the official convoys will move to the Summit venue.
There will also be some traffic restrictions on the Bulboaca-Chisinau routes and vice versa.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the purpose of the general simulation on 14 May is to improve inter-institutional work and cooperation and to check the integrated security concept.
