LIVE The Constitutional Court continues the examination of the Government's approach regarding the outlawing of the Șor Party
Today, starting at 10:00, the session of the Constitutional Court will continue in which the Government's approach regarding the constitutionality of the ȘOR Political Party is examined. Today's meeting is a continuation of yesterday's, which lasted about 7 hours.
We remind you that in Wednesday's meeting, several actions of the lawyers of the Şor Party were examined, including the postponement of the meeting to ensure the participation of the deputy of the formation, Marina Tauber, an action that was partially accepted by the magistrates of the Constituional Court.
We remind you that last November the Government demanded the outlawing of the Şor Party, which it accuses of acting in contradiction to the principles of the rule of law and endangering the sovereignty and independence of the Republic of Moldova, being financed from outside and supported by Russian secret services.
The leader of the formation, the fugitive recently sentenced to 15 years in the bank fraud case, Ilan Şor, qualifies the Government's approach as political.
