The "European Moldova" Assembly, which will take place today in Chișinău, will serve as a test to determine whether the Republic of Moldova genuinely desires to integrate into the European Union, stated Janis Mazeiks, the Ambassador of the European Union to Chișinău, in an interview with Radio Moldova. According to the official, a strong message conveyed by the European Union to our country is the presence of the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, at this event.
"This event will be very powerful because we have observed the determination of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova to integrate into the European Union. We have also witnessed this determination from the government and the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, so we expect the event to truly have a major impact. It is crucial to demonstrate this message and determination for integration. The President of the European Parliament will also be present, which will serve as another signal and a strong message of support offered by the European Union to the Republic of Moldova," stated Janis Mazeiks.
